Chapter 18

     Hello, everyone!!! I'm back :') finally! After tons of exams that keeping me from doing anything except studying :') Well, I just wanna say sorry for the really long longgggg wait *bows down* And of course, the exams are finished now and I also NZ can concentrate on this :D So, here we go! ^^

Reina’s POV

 

“Why are you bowing to them!? Especially that damn man!”, Albert complained right after they couldn’t hear us anymore.

“Emm... Well... they’re our senior, so of course we must respect them?”

Suddenly Albert stopped walking and faced towards me. I couldn’t stop myself and bumped into him.

“Listen, you gotta show them something incredible so they will listen to our request!”

I raised one of my eyebrows and continued walking despite he was still standing there.

“Hey, Rei! Are you even listening?”

“Of course I am.”, I kept walking and Albert followed me.

“You should show Sera your power, Rei! It’s gonna be cool! Imagine the headlines of Seize wall magazines are ‘Sarah Williams is back!’!”

I stopped walking and said to him, “It’s not even an option to begin with. How can you just tell to all over the school that I’m her reincarnation?! We DO have enemies! Remember about Cooper?”

Albert looked like he was about to spout out something but he closed his mouth.

“So... What are you planning to do?”, he asked.

I sighed and kept walking towards the library. “I don’t know. Gather some informations on how to attract the president of student council?”

Albert’s POV

 

“Hey, Albert! Where have you been? Mr. Kitakura has been looking for you.”, Henry, my chairmates asked as soon as I sat on my chair.

“Hmm... it’s my time of the month?”, I laughed.

Henry rolled his eyes and said, “Oh come on, another secret?”

“She asked me to. I can’t refuse her.”, I raised both of my shoulders while smirking.

“Woahhh! SHE! Hahaha who is it? Who is it?”

“Se – cret!”

“Yo, Man! Don’t forget about Mr. Kitakura!”, Steven, who was standing beside us all these times suddenly said.

“Ah, oh yeah. Sorry, Henry. Saved by the bell.”, I winked at him and walked out of the class.

Why are our self denfense teacher looking for me? Haha. It’s going to be interesting.

“Hey, Steven. Don’t mind to hide, I can sense you.”

“You sure are great. Well, actually I just want to know what just happened on the gym before.”, he said while still reading on his thick book.

“It’s nothing important actually. Just my childhood friend crying because her classmates are bullying her.”

“Hey, Albert. Don’t mind to lie, I can sense lies.”, he imitated me then burst out to laugh.

I laughed too. “Hey, you’re not even close to what I said before. My intonation was much cooler.”

“In your dream!”

Oops.. How can I flee from this question? Ah! Thanks God! We’ve reached the teacher’s room!

“Well... I actually... can’t tell you! Ah, the teacher’s room! See you, Steven!”, I laughed it off to the teacher’s room.

“Arghh! Damn! Just a little more. Well, never mind. I am going to know it, sooner or later.”, I heard just before the door was closed.

“Yo, Yui!”, I greeted the man who sat just in front of the door.

“Call me Mr. Kitakura, please.”

“Oh man, I need to be formal with my own former teacher?”

“I AM still your teacher.”

“Okay, I meant, my former private teacher?”

“Yes. Please, take a seat.”

“Why are you calling for me?”, I asked as I sat on the chair in front of him.

AN : Sorry for the long awaits >_< I don't have any idea how to continue the story so I need a long time to think about it. I'll try to make it as good as possible. Sorryyyy ...>_<...

Sera's POV

     "Sera, can you do this for me?," Monica asked me.

     "Sure. What's it?"

     "Sound ac. freshmen files." Monica gave me a big heavy box and ran away after saying "Thank you, honey!" So typically her.

     I almost drop the box when Ryan came in the perfect timing.

     "Whoa! Be careful Sera."

     "Oh gosh thank you, Ryan! I didn't know what will happen if this box fell! Maybe I need months to arrange it again."

     "So.....," Ryan replied.

     "So?," I stared at him.

     "Where's my present?"

     "Present?"

     He nodded. "A kiss will do."

     My cheek blushed. "What the hell are you talkin' about?! No way! And by the way, get off me! We're drawing peoples attention!," I said after I realised that our position right now seems like he's hugging me.

     "Should I?" He started again, one of his pranks.

     "You must!"

     Ryan smiled and finally released his hands from my body. "You know, I-"

     "Excuse me, are you Sera Phrimera?," suddenly a boy and a girl came towards us.

     "Where's your attitude?! She's the student council secretary!," Ryan shouted at them.

     "It's okay, Ryan. Maybe they're freshmen so they didn't know. Yes, I'm Sera. And who are you guys?"

     "My name's Albert Midford and this is my friend Reina Walker. We wanted to meet the student council president, Monica, but our friend said that we must meet you first," the boy said.

     "So Albert and Reina, why do you want to meet Monica?"

     "We wanted to ask about something," the boy answered again. Why is the girl so quiet?

     "What's that something?"

     "We can't tell you, but it's very important."

     "Monica's schedule is arrange by me, and I need to know the details to make your request possible. Sorry, but if you refuse to tell me the things you wanted to talk about, I can't accept it."

     "But-"

     "No more buts little boy," Ryan finally talked. "Tell us or we can't accept it."

     "Who are you? Student council vice president? How can you just brag to our conversation?!"

     "I'm her BF."

     I stepped at Ryan's foot and smiled towards Albert and Reina. "Sorry, but no. Unless by chance you meet Monica and talked to her then she tells me by herself that she want to meet you and ask me to arrange the schedule."

     "Can't you help us?" Finally Reina talked.

     "Sorry, no."

     "Uhmm... By the way Ms. Phrimera...," Reina spoke quietly.

     "What is it Reina?" I bend my body so I can hear her clearly.

     She whispered in my ear. "Do you... By any chance... Have a kind of symbol like pendant, earrings, bracelet or such things that is passed from generation to generation in your family?"

     I'm shocked. How did she know?

     "Reina. I think we can meet sometime. Do you have time tomorrow after school?"

     She nodded.

     "Then it's set," I took my notebook and write my schedule there.

     "Thanks a lot Ms. Phrimera. Sorry for disturbing your time with your boyfriend," Reina bowed. Albert followed her after. After I nodded, they went away.

     "What are you talking about?," Ryan asked.

     "Something."

     "Are you hiding something from me?"

     "Yes, I am. Bye, Ryan. I must go back to student council room to finish my task."

Chapter 16

     Well, hello all of you! ^^ Happy palm day and happy sunday! >.< And here we go, NZ is creating another characther! Haha. Anyway, hope all of you enjoy it! :D

Reina's POV

 

 

     "... Now, let's start our lesson", Mrs. Catherine started the lesson, "we, the sound user can use our power for attacking enemies. As we all know, attacking is the best defense. But as a sound user, we can't just use it for fighting. Element users like us, use their power to help people. And as we know, we can control the sound well, we should use it to something useful in peaceful enviroment, such as playing music..."

     Mrs. Catherine continued her lesson with her motto as main topic, 'live in a peaceful way'. I saw my classmates were getting sleepier and sleepier. So I wrote a note and passed it to Beatrice. I wrote, 'Do you know Monica Smith?'.

     She wrinkeled her forehead and scribbled something on the paper. 'Why? You know her?'.

     'I have to meet her.'

     'She is the student council president of the sound academy! It's hard, reallyyyy hard to meet her, you see'

     'Do you know how can I reach her?'

     'Hmm... you have to pass Sera, the secretary first?'

     'Sera?'

     'Sera Phrimera. The best student the sound ac. has ever had! She is the youngest student souncil in Seinze. You can find her in 11 Sound 7'

     'Thanks'

     'But watch out for her--'

     "Ms. Walker? Are you listening?", asked Mrs Catherine before I could read the note.

     "Yes, of course, Mrs. Catherine.", I smiled, throwing the note into the dust bin under the table so that no one can see it again. Each table had one.

     "Come here! Show me what I taught just now."

     The students started to whiper to each other, how I won't suceed. I ignored all of them and walked to the front of the class. I could see some of my friends started to laugh at me. I took the violin Mrs. Catherine was holding. I held the violin and inhaled deeply. I closed my eyes and tried to remember what Grandpa had taught me.

     The memories Grandpa gave me, his warm smile and his big hands when he taught me music rushed into my mind. When I opened my eyes, confidence was all I could felt. The nervousness that I had before had gone.

     I started the play the song Grandpa used to play for me. I remember how he played it everyday and made me smile when my friends teased me because of how I laugh. I never laugh again after that, of course I laughed when I was with Grandpa, but now... I would never see him ever again. My tear dripped as soon as I remember how Grandpa died.

     After finishing the song I put the violin on the teacher's table and wiped my tears off. The entire classroom was so quiet and no one reacted to my play. Maybe it was so bad that no one reacted yet. Of course it was bad! I never learnt the notes of the song, yet I still played it based on my memory of Grandpa playing only. I bowed down and walked down the stairs.

     Just in time, the bell rang and I left the classroom with tears on my cheek.

     I walked slowly to wherever my legs went. I arrived on the gym and heard noises from the gym. I climbed the stairs and watched from above.

     There were 10 students there. From their uniform, I was sure that they were from the water academy. I watched them playing basketball and I was so mesmerized in the game until I didn't think about how Grandpa died anymore.

     Huh? Is that Albert? He's playing too?

     "Hey, Steven! Pass the ball! Pass it to me!", Albert said while running towards the ring. One of the enemies guarded on him but he passed him quickly.

     A boy who was dribbling the ball passed the ball to Albert and Albert dunked the ball.

     "YEAHHH!!", 5 of the boys, including Albert and Steven screamed. They ran all over the gym and they were laughing all the way.

     Albert gave Steven a high five then they started the game again. After that, Steven made some lay up shoots and Albert made 2 three points shoots so they won the game. I screamed when the game ended and the boys looked up to see me.

     "Reina?", Albert was the only one who recognised me. He jogged to where I was watching the game.

     "What are you doing here?"

     "It's recess so I'm free to go anywhere right?"

     "Well, I won't say anything if I don't know you're HER reincarnation", he whispered.

     "Anyway, you're so cool!", I exclaimed.

     "It's not the time to talk about this, Reina."

     "Who is she, Bert?", it was Steven.

     "Oh, she's my childhood friend, Reina. Reina, this is Steven, one of my classmates. He's the brightest student in the class."

     "Hello, Steven!", I smiled and put my hand out, "That was awesome! You are both so cool!"

     "Oh, thanks, hmm Reina. Nice to meet you."

     "Anyway, I'm going with her so please tell the others to go without me."

     "What?"

     "Okay, see you in class!"

     "What? Why? You, him", I couldn't talk and said what I was thinking.

     "Talk clearly."

     "Blah! Why don't you go with him?"

     "I KNOW you, Rei. So tell me, what happened."

     I told him about what Cicil said to me about Monica and what Beatrice told me just now. He nodded a few times and looked like he was thinking a strategy.

     "Let's go!", he pulled me out of the gym.

     "Where?"

     "Sound's student council room."

Chapter 15

AN : This time I'm not going to use Cindy's POV but another character's POV. And also, this story is a little bit not related to the story that we've already wrote before. This happened when they just entered Seinze, so it's more like flashback. Don't worry if you feel confused. Just keep this chapter in mind and you'll understand the relation soon ;)

Sera's POV

     I don't wanna live in this world anymore... I'm just a useless girl. It's better for me to die. I'll met them there. I don't know what I live for anymore...

     "Sera Phrimera, isn't it?"

     "Yes."

     "You'll be entering the Sound Academy. Your locker is number 1678," one of the student council committe gave me a key."And this is your dorm key, room number 1109," she said while giving me another key, a bigger one.

     "Thank you," I replied.

     I walked outside the hall and quickly ran to my dorm. I don't want to meet anyone. I don't want to make friends. It's better for me to live alone in this academy. I don't need anyone. I bring bad lucks to people. If they become my friend, I don't know what will happen to them. Maybe they'll die like my parents. No! I can't let that happen!

     "WOAH!"

     I looked left and saw a very handsome guy beside me. I think I almost hit him until he fall. See? I bring bad lucks. Maybe if he really fell, he'll sprained his ankle or broke his arms.

     "I'm sorry," I said and left.

     "Wait!" He pulled my hand and made me face him. He really is handsome. "Why are you such in a hurry?"

     "It's.... nothing. I must go now, please let my hands off."

     "You talked so silently, how could I hear what you said?"

     "I MUST GO NOW!!!," I screamed. Making everyone around us stared at us. I pulled my hands and ran away. No, this is bad. He'll receive my bad luck!

     I stopped in front of a garden maze and entered it. It won't be lost, it's always been like that since I was a child. I have good intuitions. I stopped in the middle of the maze and sat on the grass. I don't want to bring any bad lucks to others. I'll stay here until the night comes. There's nothing I should do after this though. All I need to do is just unpack my suitcase and tidy things up.

     "What a strange place to go." I heard someone talking. I looked behind and saw that handsome guy again. "Anything you must do that you need to rush here? Black magic?"

     "No," I said. I stood up and ran deeper to the maze. He musn't find me. He'll get my bad lucks.

     "Why are you avoiding me?!" He grasped my hand and forced me to sit on the grass.

     "No! Let me go!!!," I shouted.

     "I won't! Stay calm!"

     "LET ME GO!!!," I screamed and used my power to make him off my hand.

     He stood still, nothing happened. I just realised that he's a sound academy student. He's wearing a purple cape. I'm so stupid!!!

     "And for now, agressive little missy, you must tell me everything before I let you go."

     I decided to tell him quickly so I can minimalize the damage that my bad lucks might bring to him.

     "I bring bad lucks to people around me. My parents died because a car accident when I'm still a child. My older brother died because he took me to the hospital with him that day, and my older sister died a few days after because she saved me from hitting a truck."

     "People around me always get bad lucks. My friends, my classmates, my family, my neighbours, everyone. Whenever I tried to kill myself, I always fail. I chose Seinze simply because I think I'll never go out from here until I finished my study so I can't bring bad lucks for people. My father and my mother left a very big amount of money for me, so I can pay my school fees. When I finished my study, I'll refuse to work for the government and do many crimes so they'll kill me."

     That guy stared at me, maybe shocked after hearing my story.

     "I'm finish. So let me go!"

     "Wait! What's your name?," He asked.

     "Why should I tell you?! Don't you understand? I can bring you bad lucks!"

     "My name is Ryan Black, sound ac. student. I want you to be my very first friend here."

     I stared at him. I can't believe what he just said.

     "What?"

     "I want us to be friends."

     "Are you humiliating me?! You must be kidding! Let me go!"

     "I'M NOT!," he shouted. "I really want us to be friends! No one in this world brings bad luck to others! I'll show you that I won't get any bad lucks when I'm near you."

     Hearing him saying that, my tears fell down. I'm used for being rejected. Many people hated me. But he... this guy... Ryan... He wanted to be my friend. My very first friend.

     I cried silently. He hugged me and pated my head. This feeling... I remember this clearly. It's totally the same... It's the same like back then when dad's still alive. He used to hug me when I cried and pated my head. Dad... I have a friend.

     "My name is Sera Phrimera," I finally answered his question.

     "Okay, Sera. I hope we can be good friends." He smiled and we walked back to the dorm.

Chapter 14

     Have you seen the map and uniform? How are them? Nice, isn't it? :p Anyway, let's get started!

Reina's POV

     "What?!?! You're the reincarnation of that Sarah Wil-- Hmphhh! Hmphhh!", I closed Vivian's mouth with my hands.

     "Are you crazy? This is the canteen! How can you talk about this so loudly?!", I talked quietly.

     "But, are you? Really??", she asked, now in more quiet way.

     I nodded.

     "Why aren't both of you surprised? You've known about it, haven't you?"

     "Well, Reina is still Reina. We have been friends with the reincarnation of Sarah all this time! It's good, isn't it?", said Albert.

     "You're really my best friend!", I said.

     "Does it mean that we can go out now?", he teased.

     "Of course not."

     "Anyway, how can we help you?", asked Anthony.

     And so I began to tell them about the elementals. I told them about the marked and asked them whether they had it.

     "I have one!", said Anthony.

     "Really?", Vivian asked.

     "Yeah, I have a gold pendant that was passed on generations.", he reached into his pocket but soon his face turned pale.

     "What is it?", asked Albert.

     "My pendant! It's gone!"

     "Are you searching for this?"

     We looked to where the voice came from and found that couple again.

     "You're that couple in th maze, aren't you?", I asked.

     "We are NOT couple.", the girl in black and white uniform said.

     "Who are these guys?", asked Vivian.

     "I don't know, I just met them.", I said.

     "They're Christian Russel from the wind academy and Cindy Laurent from the Wind and Fire academy. They have a lot of stars.", Albert winked at Cindy but Cindy ignored him.

     Christian Russel and Cindy Laurent. Hmm... this is easier than I thought.

     "Come, join us.", I said.

     Albert, Anthony, and Vivian looked at me and asked me with their eyes and expression but I ignored them while Albert smiled as I invited them.

     "Take this.", Christian threw the pendant to Anthony.

     He couldn't catch it, but fortnately the pendant didn't fall down. Albert caught it right before it reached the floor.

     "Here, Bro.", Albert gave the pendant to Anthony and smiled.

     "Are you crazy?!", said Anthony, he was about to stand up from his chair but I prevent him to do so.

     "So both of you are quite popular with that a lot stars in your hand, aren't you?", I asked.

     "What do you want?", all of a sudden Cindy's eyes turned red.

     Anthony immediately used his power to create light barrier.

     "Enough, we don't want to fight. Especially here!", I said.

     "So what do you want?", asked Christian.

     "You are sylphs, aren't you?"

     They looked surprised.

     "Show us prove that you're also elementals.", said Christian.

     Anthony was the first one to show his pendant, while Albert and Vivian was looking to each other. After a while, they smiled and searched for their marks. Vivian pulled out her necklaces and opened the pendulum. She put down the diamond inside the necklaces. The diamond was very beautiful. When the light shone it, it reflected rainbow colours. Albert showed his water-drop-tattoo on his left hand, which was covered by the uniform before.

     Christian looked to me and said, "How about you?".

     What should I do? I don't have any mark.

     "She is the reincarnation of Sarah Williams.", said Anthony.

     Both of them looked surprised.

     "Follow us.", Christian said while went out of the canteen.

     We followed him and arrived at the wooden door.

     "Open it."

     "Who? Me?", I asked.

     "Of course. If you're her reincarnation you should know how."

     I recalled they hadn't told me. So I used my intuition and walked to the wooden door.

     "I need your power. I don't have enough power now. Please gather your aura as big as this ball," I pointed to one of the six symbols on the door, "then concentrate on it and when I said send it, send it to the ball which has the same colour as your aura."

     I walked to the other side of the maze and began to gather my aura too since there was no one who can use sound aura.

     "Send it.", I said as I sent my aura ball to the door.

     The six symbols went in circles for a while and they began to open the wooden door. I could saw the amazed face on all of my friends and new friends.

     "Woah!! This is real cool!", Christian shouted.

     "Thank you for opening this door for me!", said a voice.

     Who is he? I saw a man with a red-black uniform. He laughed and jumped down from the bushes.

     "Wincent!", said Cindy.

     Wincent Cooper?

     "Hahaha!", he laughed once more and tried to get into the guider world.

     "Don't move!", I shouted while attacked him with my high-notes-singing.

     "Damn it!", he pulled out a couple of ear plug and used them on his ear.

     Albert was the first one to react. He used his water barrier to cover the door. And Christian helped him to blow wind so that the water turned into ice. Cindy used her power and created fire balls and launched them to Wincent. But Wincent dodged them and the fire balls began to burn the bushes on the maze.

     Albert took water from the fountain nearby and splashed them to the burned-bushes. Anthony used his light barrier to covered the door and shone a dazzling light to Wincent. He fell down and Vivian immediately used her power to grow vines and trapped Wincent with them. But Wincent didn't stay still, he burned the vines and fleed.

     "That was quite fun!", said Albert.

     We looked to each other and laughed. Suddenly we heard a knocking sound from the door. Anthony quickly withdrew his light barrier and Cindy melt the ice which covered the door.

     "What are you guys doing?", asked Cicil to me.

     "Who is talking now?", asked Vivian.

     "It's Cicil. She's my guider. Maybe you can't see her."

     "Guider? Woah! Amazing!", said Christian.

     I smiled and told Cicil the whole thing.

     "All of you have to trained in the guider world! It's just a student that want to enter the guider world and all of you have to work hard. You're supposed to fight him alone and one by one in the real battle. Not to mention the demon! How are you guys going to fight him with a condition like this? But before that, Reina, you have to find Seraphim and Salamander too. So that all of you can start the training together!"

Cindy's POV

    "Hey, you!"
    I was sitting on the garden, reading a book about elementals that I borrowed from the central library when suddenly I heard someone shouted to me. There are 7 libraries in Seinze, one in each academy plus one central library. Academy libraries only have books about a certain element according to the academy they're in, whilst the central academy has the most complete informations. Books that include informations about elementals only available in the central academy.
    I closed my book and looked back. A boy is walking towards me. "You called me?"
    "Who else?," he replied with a very cocky tone. I hate it.
    "You don't need to answer in that tone! Do you have any problem with me?" I stood up.
    "I want to ask you for a star-fight!"
    "Star-fight? What are you talking about?"
    "You don't know what it is? Unbelievable! How can a careless person like you got five stars?!," he smiled sarcastically.
    "Hey! Watch your words!"
    "Cindy? What happened?" Christian landed beside me. There's some sauce sticked on his cheek, I bet he just finished eating and immediately search for me. I refused his offer to have lunch with him. I still felt uncomfortable because yesterday we had a fight.
    "There's some sauce on your cheek," I said, try to avoid an eye-contact.
    "Huh? What?"
    "Sauce. On your cheek."
    He wiped his cheek with his hand, but it's the wrong side.
    "The other one, idiot!," I can't be patient and took a piece of tissue to wipe his cheek. Fortunately, he closed his eyes. I don't need to avoid his eye-contact.
    "Hey! I'm still here! I don't need to see a lovey-dovey scene in front of me!," the stranger shouted. With a cocky tone again for sure.
    "What does he want?," Christian whispered on my ear.
    "Star-fight. I don't know what it is," I answered quietly.
    "You asked her for a star-fight?," Christian asked him. He nodded.
    "Which academy are you from?"
    "Fire," the stranger answered.
    "And your name?"
    "Wincent. Wincent Cooper."
    "Okay. When? Where? How many stars you wanna bet?"
    "Today, after school, Fire academy, 3 stars."
    I understand nothing from what they're talking about. What I know is, when Christian finished talking with him, he nodded and ran away.
    "What did he want?," I asked, still avoiding any eye-contact.
    "I'll answer it if you don't avoid my eyes again."
    God! He realized it! I gained all my might and looked him in the eyes. He smiled.
    "Finally."
    "Now answer my question. It's related to me, isn't it?"
    "Come here, I'll explain it to you."
    We flew to the central academy.

    "So it's the same like yesterday's practical fight?"
    "Nearly the same. The only thing that's different is if you lose, you lose your stars. Star-fight is an individual fight. The students arrange it by themselves, so the teachers won't give any stars to the winner. The winner will get stars from the loser," Christian explained.
    We're standing in front of the announcement board, looking at the list of the most-star owners from each academy. My name's in it, but I don't know why. Christian's name also there, he represents Wind Academy. I don't represent any academy, why is my name in it?
    "Hey! There's no Sound Academy student here! That's weird," I said to Christian.
    "Well... You know... Sound Academy is famous for it's 'bad students'. They always get bad scores, weak at practical tests, and have no hesitation to learn more about their powers. I heard that their practical test went out so badly that the teacher didn't want to give them any stars," Christian whispered.
    "Ahh... So that's why...," I mumbled.
    RINGG!!!, the bell rang, time for students to get back to their classes.
    "Oh! It's finished. We must meet again on the second break."
    "Sure. I'll see you on the central library," I replied. Today I study in the Fire Academy, so we can't meet except on the recess time.
    "Okay, I'll see you there."

    "So there are also Gnomes, Salamander, Undines, Ljósálfar, and Seraphim?"
    "Yes, and they all have special signs. Things like our earrings."
    Me and Christian are studying about elementals on the central library. Elementals are Sarah Williams' guardians, and they all divided into 6 elements.
    "How many are them in total?," I asked.
    "Who? The elementals? Six of course. One for each element." Seems like he knows a lot about everything that are related to Sarah. Why does he still need to study?
    "But why are we both Sylphs? If there's only one Sylph, then the reincarnation will only be one."
    "That's what I still searching for," Christian looked puzzled. "Before I met you, I thought that I'm the only descendant. But when you appeared, all the informations I had are useless. How come there are 2 Sylph? And also, how can a person has 2 different elements? Moreover, it's from different bases."
    I stared at him, watching him searching for informations intensely. The same questions are spinning in my head. How can I have two elements? Why are there two Sylph? What am I?

    "Fighting!!!," Christian hugged me from behind.
    "What are you doing, Chris?! Get your hands off me!!!" I can feel the glares of envy girls inside this room. So sharp, feels like they're tearing me apart.
    "Are you ready?," asked Wincent, who already finished preparing himself. I walked forward, stood straight, ready to begin the battle.

    "You won! Great job!," Christian cheered.
    "You don't need to be that happy, Chris. It's not that big."
    "Why can't I? It's a very tough battle and you won! I can't believe it lasted for almost 5 minutes."
    "If I didn't end it hardly on the last moment, it'll be a tie game and I'll get no star. So... It only leave me one choice, to attack him seriously. But I'm glad that he's okay. The wound heals fast."
    I remember how the battle ends. It's very frightening, even for myself. I attacked him and he almost can't protect himself. My fire burned parts of his uniform, but he's okay. I quickly healed him with my wind power and he thanked me. I got four stars from him, one as a thank you gift. Gentleman, isn't he?
    "By the way, I'm really amazed with his power, you know? He's stronger than I think."
    "I don't think he's that strong," Christian replied with a straight face.
    "What's suddenly got into you?" I looked at his face and accidentally hit someone.
    "Owww..."
    "I'm sorry!!! Are you alright?!"
    I saw the person whom I hit, a water-academy guy. A light-academy guy, maybe his friend, help him stood up. Then, he raised his hand, offering me help. Just when my hand almost touch his, Christian lifted me and help me to stand. Even after that he still hold my hand.
    "Oh! You're the special scholarship student, aren't you?," ask the light-academy guy. Yeah... That's what I'm famous as : 'The special scholarship student.'
    "Yes," I answered.
    "I saw your star-fight with Wincent. Really good fight." This time, the water-academy guy talked.
    "Thanks."
    "We should fight sometime. Must be very interesting. Oh! By the way, I'm Albert Midford," the water-academy guy introduced himself. Hmm... One of the most-star owners.
    "Anthony Boyd," said the light-academy guy. Another most-star owner.
    "I'm Cindy Laurent and this is my friend Christian Russel."
    "Ah! The Wind-Academy champion! You're both boyfriend and girlfriend?," ask Albert. I realized that Christian's still holding my hand. I shook it off.
    "No! It's-"
    "Albert! Anthony!," a girl shouted from afar. She's the weird girl we met on the garden maze yesterday.
    "Oh! Reina's calling. We gotta go! See you later, couple!" Albert winked and ran towards the girl.
    "Playboy...," I mumbled.
    "No doubt," Christian replied.
    A second later, I saw something shiny on the ground. I bent my knees and took it, a gold pendant.
    "What is it?," asked Christian.
    "Dunno. A gold pendant?" I gave it to him and his eyes got bigger.
    "Ljósálfar!!!"

Reina's POV

     I walked slowly to the maze. Fortunately Anthony wanted to help me, so he was gathering information now. It would be pretty easy since his sister was the student council president of the earth academy. So my job was to gather some more information from Cicil.

     I was walking through the path way of the maze to the door, when I heard a couple shouting.

     "Why are you so interested with this 'Sarah Williams'? She already died though.", the woman shouted.
    "Hey! Watch your words! She's not dead yet! She'll come and save the world.", the man shouted.

     Sarah Williams? They know something about Sarah! I have to ask them! But who are they? I couldn't see them. I walked to where the noises came from and listen to it. I stayed hidden in one of the bushes.
    "How can she?! She already died!!!"
    "Her reincarnation will come! I believe!!!"

    I gathered my courage and step into their fight, hoping to find anymore important information about Sarah, "hmmm... Are you guys alright?"

     After walked out of the bush, I could see them. Like what I thought before, a couple. The woman was wearing a weird uniform, I hadn't seen them before. She had long reddish hair and her uniform was white and black, quite interesting, while the boy had spiky black hair and from his uniform, I knew he was in Air academy. What caught my eye was that they were both wearing the same earrings. Typical couple, huh?

     "We're okay. Just a little bit misunderstanding.", said the man while smiling at me, "Why are you here? You got lost?"

     I shook my head and answered, "Just taking a walk around the garden. Anyway..."

     "Okay. We're going to get back now. Sorry for the interruption.", he said before I could ask more about Sarah.

     They flew and gone while arguing. Oh man! That was a good chance!

     "Hey, Reina! What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to do the mission?", I heard Cicil's voice right behind me.

     "Cicil! Just in time. I want to ask you a couple of questions!"

     "Do you know them?", she asked.

     "No, I just met them but I planned to know about them more. They were talking about Sarah just now."

     "You look excited."

     "Of course, it's like I'm a princess of a spiked-castle!", I smiled.

     "You don't have to hide it from me. I'm your guider, of course I know what you're feeling. Why do you feel sad?"

     "I... don't have any power. I can enter this academy just because I'm the reincarnation of Sarah. I don't care  about who she is or what she had done in the past, but... I want everyone to see ME, not the reincarnation of Sarah.", I sat on the grass and sighed.

     "It's not about they look at the reincarnation of Sarah or yourself, but how you manage what you've got. Maybe you don't have any power now, you aren't supposed to be here, or maybe you are looked as the reincarnation of Sarah. So prove it. Give them prove that you're not just the reincarnation of Sarah, prove it that you're MORE than that. Prove that you aren't a robot that do whatever the other says. You're more than that, Reina. Really more than that."

     I repeated what Cicil said in my mind for times, and felt that excitement ran through my blood. I smiled and said, "Thanks, Cicil."

     "Anyway, do you know about the elementals?"

     I shook my head.

     "Sarah had guardians from all of the six elements, they are called the elementals. Salamander of the fire, Gnomes from the earth, Seraphim from the sound, Ljósálfar from the light, Sylphs from the air, and Undines from the water. The group was named based on their first leader, who are Sarah best friends. They've helped Sarah for a long, long time now."

Third Person's POV

*** Flashback***

     "Sylphs, just leave me alone. I will use my last power to bring back the barrier of light. Use the remaining time to take refugee with the others. My time has come.", said Sarah while pushing her own chest, blood was flowing out of her chest.

     "What are you saying, Sarah? We can't leave you all alone!", said Sylph while using his power to blow enemies up.

     "Captain Undine! Please heal captain Ljósálfar!", said Nicholas who was still a soldier while taking a body to the room.

     Undine quickly went to her friend and started to heal him.

     "Are you okay, Ljósálfar?", asked Undine.

     "I... used too much power... for the light barrier. Dökkálfar... is getting more and... more powerful, I can't beat him now...", he coughed some blood out.

     "Ljósálfar!!", screamed Undine, she cried loudly and used her tears to heal Ljósálfar quicker.

     "Oh my! What are Salamander, Gnome, and Seraphim doing?!?", shouted Sylph.

     "Sylph, we don't have any other choice! Go with all the others and take refugee to the sky palace. You're save there for now!"

     "But..."

     "You want to sacrifice a lot of people just for me?!", Sarah said with a leader tone, means that it was really important order.

     "But you're the only one who can defeat the demon! We can't let you die!"

     "Trust me. I will come back, when the demon rise up and humans can't fight him anymore, I will come and rescue all of you. Trust me. Now, go! You don't have enough time!"

     Sylph didn't want to go, but Ljósálfar's condition made him took the decision to rescue everyone, since he has the power to control the air. He left Sarah unwillingly and went to where everyone would be flew to the sky palace, where only his soldiers may go.

     "What!? You left Sarah alone?!", Seraphim shouted and rose up from the bed.

     "Lie down, Sera! You haven't recover completely yet!", ordered Undine who was in charge of healing.

     "But!"

     "You can do nothing about it now, can't you?", said Salamander coldly.

     "Damn you, Sal!", Seraphim coughed up some more blood but Salamander didn't really care.

     "See? I've tod you to lie down.", said Undine while covering Seraphim's body with a blanket.

     "I planned on crush them up soon.", said Gnome, he was the most loyal friend of Sarah.

     "I don't think it's necessary, I can't feel her aura anymore. What should we do?", asked Undine while crying.

     "Then... we have to use our remaining aura to transfer our soul to our descendants.", said Sylph, there was no smile in his face.

     "What do you mean?", asked Seraphim.

     "She said that she would come back. Yeah! That's the only thing we can do now! We let our soul which contains our power into our decendants so that when Sarah come back we can protect her! Before the demon touch her!"

     "That's a good idea!", said the others and they started to talk about it excitedly.

     "But what about Ljósálfar? He hasn't woken up yet.", said Undine.

     "We'll wait for him to wake up. Now, let's spread out this news so that it will be passed on generations."

***End of Flashback***

Reina's POV

     "So they're both the decendants of Sylph?"

     Cicil nodded.

     "The earrings were made hundred of years after that incident. The decendants thought that the one who has the power of the leaders should be clearly marked so that they would know about their responsibilty. The earrings means that they're the decendants of Sylph. While the other leader have their own mark. Their decendants will have more power than other ordinary students here. They have both their own power and their ancestor power, so that's not surprising."

     "In other words, I can meet them by looking for strong students?"

     Cicil nodded once more while smiling and said, "You're fast."

     "Anyway, Cicil. How can I gather the information while I am just a weak new student?"

     "Look for Monica Smith. She would love to help you."

     "Okay, thanks a lot, Cicil. I'm glad that you're my guider!"

     I was about to leave the maze when Cicil called out for me.

     "What?"

     "You... didn't tell anybody about this except the principal, did you?"

     I was about to said that Anthony knows about this too when the bell rang.

     "Woahh! Talk to you later, Cil!"

     "Reina! Have you seen the announcement board?", asked Beatrice, my new friend from Sound academy.

     "No, why? How do you know that today we have an announcement?"

     "Of course I know! You slept when the principal told us about this on Sarah Williams session, didn't you?"

     On Sarah Williams session? Ah, that's why I don't know.

     "Yeah", I lied and put on my guilty smile, "What is it about?"

     "You know, in the first class we have time to fight each other, right?"

     I nodded.

     "When we win, we'll get stars and we can purchase some fancy things in the end of the month. The announcement board will be where the list of who have the most stars announce! We may fight the others to gain stars, you see.", she whispered her last sentence.

     "So we'll know who is the most powerful in each academy?"

     "Of course! Now, let's go!", Beatrice pulled me out of the class.

     Wew, it's easier than what I thought. I just have to see the announcement board every monday and I'll know who are the leaders' decendants!

     We arrived not long after we departed. I looked to the tenth grader's announcement board. Now, let's see...

Cindy's POV

    "Good morning, students."
    "Good morning, Miss Alison."
    "Today we have a new student entering our class, a special scholarship student, Cindy Laurent."
    I walked into the class and felt all the students' gazes. I don't like those kind of things, they made me feel like an alien. But, something surprised me. On the middle of the third row, I saw Christian smiling at me. We're in the same class?! JACKPOT!!!
    "Hello, everyone. My name is Cindy Laurent, but you can call me Cindy. I hope we can be good friends," I introduced myself.
    "Any question for Cindy, students?," asked Miss Alison. A boy pointed out his finger.
    "My name's Jonathan," he said. Jonathan?! GREAT!!! Someone who makes me remember someone who I don't want to remember.
    "Why are you wearing different uniform?"
    "Uhmm...," I'm thinking of the best way to answer this question. "Well... I have two elements from different bases so I have special uniform?" Even I don't know the real reason. Why didn't the principal give me two different uniforms for each academy? Then, I don't need to fall down to this kind of situations.
    Jonathan looked puzzled. He stared at me, also the other students. Well, except Christian for sure, and Miss Alison. She clapped her hands, asking for attentions.
    "Okay, if that's all, we'll start our morning lesson. Cindy, you may sit in any empty chairs."
    Christian pointed at a seat beside him, which is empty. I walked towards him and sat on that chair.
    In Seinze, there's a special lesson every Monday morning called "the practical lesson". In this two-hour lesson, teachers will choose the students that will fight one on one. The winner of the fights will get stars that they can exchange for prizes in the end of that school year. Every student will get a chance. If the time's up and none of the two fighters lose, both of them won't get a star.
    Miss Alison flicked her fingers and all the seats are gone. I fell down and hit the ground. I swear I saw some students laughing at me. Well, I'm the only who fall, so it's not strange. Christian smiled and raised his hand to help me stand up.
    "It's okay. Everyone fell down for the first time."
    "You?," I asked.
    He nodded. "I still remember the pain."
    I laughed. A second after that, I realized that some girls were staring at me with evil glares. Why? Is it because of... I looked at Christian.
    "What?," he asked.
    "Nothing," I replied, and I saw them staring at me even more deeply. Well, this will be very interesting.
    "Now, I'll choose the first tow fighters," Miss Alison shouted.
    "Miss!," a girl pointed her hand. "Can I fight with Cindy? As an introduction?"
    "Sure, Amanda. Cindy, this is Amanda, the class president."
    I bowed to show my respect. "Nice to meet you."
    "Well, since this is the first time for you, I'll explain the rules," Miss Alison said to me. "They're simple. One, you can only use wind power. Two, you will lose if your opponent succeeded on hitting you, leave a scar or wound, or you surrender. Three, the time limit is 5 minute, you must win in that range of time. Four, stars will be given to you according to your attacks, your defenses, and your time on winning the fight," Miss Alison explained.
    I nodded to show her that I understand. Christian showed me where to stand and whispered "Fighting!" on my left ear. I smiled and pushed him away. He laughed. What we did made the girls stared at me even more. Well, it's their problem. I don't care at all.
    "START!!!," Miss Alison shouted.
    Amanda started off with a big typhoon that I can easily suck with a small typhoon that I made with my finger. She looked so surprised. I concentrated on my fingers and made invisible wind whips that hit Amanda's hands. They left some scars, so I win, I guess.
    "END!!!," Miss Alison shouted, right after Amanda blew some invisible wind needles. Well, even though it's invisible, I don't know why I can feel them coming. Unconsciously, I made a wind barrier and the needles flew back to Amanda, tore her uniform a little bit, leaving me untouchable. Everyone in the class stared at me while I'm staring at my own hands. Even I'm amazed at what I've done.
    Christian ran towards me and hug me tight. "You win!!!," he shouted.
    "You don't need to be that excited, do you?," I tried to get myself off his hands but no use. He's so strong.
    "Well done, Cindy. You get your first 5 stars." Miss Alison gave me a box. Inside that box, there are five white star stones.
    "Woahhh!!! FIVE!!!," Christian looked extremely amazed.
    "What? Why?," I replied with no interest.
    "Five are extraordinary you know?! I've only got three."
    "It's because Cindy's skills are extraordinary too, Christian," Miss Alison interrupted. "Very good attack, amazing reflect and defense, yet so breathtaking moves. And you only need a total of 1 minute and 12 seconds to end the battle. Your fight are really worth watching, if only Amanda can stand your attacks."
    "Thank you, Miss," I smiled.

    "I still don't know..."
    "Know what?," asked Christian.
    "My powers... Where are they from? Well, let's just say my 'skills'. I've never practiced seriously before, yet I can win against Amanda today," I replied.
    We're eating together in the middle of the garden maze to avoid anyone hearing our conversations. Recess time is the only chance we've got to talk about what Christian wanted to talk about, and this place is perfect according to him.
    "That's related to what I wanted to talk about."
    "Sylph?," I guessed.
    He nodded. "I think your skills are naturally come from your blood, your Slyph blood. Hmm.. I think you've already known that even the parents don't have any element, the children can have it?"
    This time, it's me who nodded.
    "Slyphs are special. They get their powers from family history. Blood lining you can say. So if your ancestors are powerful Slyphs, no wonder you have these fantastic skills. And usually attacker Slyphs are more powerful than defender Slyphs. It seems that you're one of the attackers. I can see it from your moves on your fight with Amanda this morning."
    "Can I ask something that's not related to this matter?," I asked.
    "Sure. Go on."
    "Why did you take me to this place back then when we first met?"
    Christian hit his forehead and suddenly stood up. "I'm totally forgot! Come here! I'll show you something." He dragged me around the maze and we stopped in front of a huge wooden door. I stared at it without blinking my eyes. Well, after some seconds they started to feel hurt, so I blinked.
    "What's this thing?"
    "A door," Christian simply answered.
    "I can see that this is a door, idiot! I mean, what kind of door?"
    "Wooden door."
    "Nooo!!! Is it something magical or related to Slyph?! Why do you show me this door?!"
    "I don't know."
    I sat on the ground, looked down and took a deep breath. I'm tired with this slow-working-brain person.
    "Don't misunderstood. What I mean is I don't know what this door related to, but I know that it's magical. I wanted to know more about this door. Maybe it's related to Sarah Williams."
    "Why are you so interested with this 'Sarah Williams'? She already died though."
    "Hey! Watch your words!," Christian shouted, made me surprised. "She's not dead yet! She'll come and save the world."
    "How can she?! She already died!!!"
    "Her reincarnation will come! I believe!!!"
    "Uhhmmm... Are you guys alright?" Suddenly I heard someone talked to us. I looked back and saw a girl with black-purple uniform appeared from behind a garden wall. She looked puzzled.
    "We're okay. Just a little bit misunderstanding," Christian smiled to her. "Why are you here? You got lost?"
    That girl shook her head. "Just take a walk around the garden."
    Take a walk in the middle of a garden maze? What a weird girl. Maybe she's an anti-social type.
    "Okay. We're going to get back now. Sorry for the interruption." Christian hold my hand and flew back to the academy.
    "Hey! I can fly by myself," I shouted.
    "Right now, just stay quiet and do what I told you to do, okay?"

Reina's POV

     I took a glance on the iPad Cicil had given to me. I keyed in the password then the iPad was open. It was empty except two applications and some basic applications. The first application was named “Missions” with a picture of a scroll with red ribbon as the icon, while the other was named “Quests” with a picture of a scroll with blue ribbon as the icon.

     I chose the missions one and the screen turned black. In seconds, the lights came back and a list of missions was there. It was listed from the most important one, the ones' deadline were near, until the unimportant one. Suddenly there was a pop up. It said that it was the tutorial.

     'Welcome to Missions! I am your agenda from now on, and now let's learn how to use this application!'

     I touched the screen once and the pop up changed.

     'Missions is an application to help you arrange your missions and schedule. Like what you can see, the missions here will be listed from the most important ones until the unimportant ones.'

     'First, let's try to do the first mission. Touch here to continue...', the message turned into an arrow pointing towards the top mission.

     "What are you doing?", Anthony asked while driving.

     I was in the way to school with Anthony. He could drive too though his car wasn't as good as Albert's since Albert was richer. This iPad was posted to my house. It just arrived this morning so I called Anthony immediately to pick me up. I didn't want to take risk by making Vivian and Albert know all of these matters.

***Flashback***

     "So both of you have known about it already?", asked Mrs. Anderson, the principal of Seinze.

     We both startled and jumped a little.

     "Good afternoon, Ma'am.", we bowed down slightly.

     "You may stand straight.", she said making us stand straight, "Follow me to my office."

     We followed her quietly, whispering why she is there. We arrived at the principal's office and walked in behind her. She asked the guards to go out and the door was closed after them.

     "Please sit down.", she smiled upon us while pointing the chairs in front of her table.

     We sat on the chairs and looked into her face right after.

     "So what were both of you talking about?", she asked still with a smile.

     Anthony stayed quiet so I thought I should answer her since all of these are my problems. I told her about the guider and what they said about me being the reincarnation of Sarah Williams. Her face didn't show any surprised or puzzled expression, so I took a conclusion that she has known about all of these.

     After silence for a few minutes she asked Anthony to leave us alone, so Anthony left. I was scared, I couldn't imagined what she was going to tell me. Is she going to make me work for this academy, not learning anything or is she going to kick me out from this academy. But she just smiled at me, not saying a thing.

     "Reina Walker... I've known you're the reincarnation of Sarah Williams for a while."

     See? I'm right! She must has known about it.

     "And actually, that's the reason you're here, entering Seinze now."

     What?!? What does it mean?? I am entering because I am the reincarnation of Sarah Williams? And what if I'm not?

     "I'm sorry to tell you now, actually I planned on not telling you about this. You didn't pass the test to enroll to this academy, but...", she talked before I could asked her about what she was saying before, "you passed the psychological test to determine whether you are the reincarnation of Sarah Williams."

     Ah! I remembered! I'd done two tests to enroll to this academy, and one of them was a psychological test.

     Mrs. Anderson stood up and walked to one of the shelves in her office, took a thick-red-cover book out and put it on the table. She opened the book and pointed to one of the pictures.

     "As you can see, this book and may other books, told us that the demon has not beaten yet. I believe you've known the story about my highness fighting the demon. And the only way to beat him is my highness' power. But my highness has already died, so the only way to defeat it has gone. The demon once again took over this world, but not by war now..."

     "He is whispering and making all the six elements to suspect each other. Up until now, all the six elements still suspect each other, and they were separated into two groups, black and white, yin and yang, or so you can say. In all these darkness, we remembered what my highness has said, 'I will come back. Just wait'..."

     "We keep waiting and waiting, but we couldn't find her. So we decided to gather all the elements user here, in Seinze. So that the demon can't control them to hurt humans, so that we can search for my highness. We keep searching and searching until we find you! Who answers not by what is right and wrong, not by the differences, but as wise as my highness..."

     "I hope that you will do what the guider tell you, and stay pure, stay as pure as my highness."

     "I am trying my new iPad. Just right from the oven, delivered express by the guiders.", I laughed on my own joke.

     Anthony stayed quiet, it means it was the time to be serious.

     "Okay, okay. I'm really trying on this new iPad. Missions and quest, cool isn't it?"

     "Tell me the first one."

     I touched the top mission and the screen changed to a scroll background and the details of the mission.

     "Hmm... First mission, search for some informations in Seinze. Sneak in into all of the six element's student council and all formal organisations in Seinze, search for important informations about rebellions, demons, or anything related with guider, Sarah, or you.", I read what was written on the screen.
